Shell Beach

Aspects: “Idyllic life”; “Under the protection of a Greek Goddess”

Shell Beach is a small unincorporated community and hour’s drive outside New Orleans. The small community is unnervingly peaceful. The inhabitants largely sustain themselves living a modest, but carefree lives with small gardens, fishing, whittling, and other “hobbies”. No one in Shell Beach has a “job”, really more just pastimes. People are kind to each other, although most of their time they spend in pleasant small talk and quiet contemplation. None has any desire to leave—they all love Shell Beach.

Shell Beach is about a half mile away from Fort Proctor, the Headquarters of the House of Proctor (and currently the home of Mnemosyne). This proximity provides a symbiotic relationship, the community providing emotional energy and sustenance for Felicity Proctor, as well as memories that Mnemosyne can readily harvest. In return, the inhabitants are happier than they have ever been.
