Superdome
The Superdome is an iconic landmark of the New Orleans Business District. Opened in 1975, the Superdome has hosted concerts, sports events, even the Pope—and of course more Superbowls than any other venues in America. In 2005 it served at the “Refuge of Last Resort” for 30,000 Katrina victims. It was then closed for 13 months for extensive repairs.
More recently, the Superdome has also become home to the Victory After Mortality Parachurch, led by Gaius Proctor. Their monthly gatherings are growing in attendance, and are spectacles of revival spiritualism.
