Most people assume the Grunch are New Orleans mythology—a scary story to tell your girlfriend while parked alone along a deserted woodland road. Unfortunately, there is more truth than legend to those stories.
The Grunch are a people descended from dwarves and albinos that were cast out of New Orleans. They now eke out an existence in the bayou as hermits. Over the passing generations inbreeding has given rise to increasing mutations. It is unknown if the Grunch have any kind of society, or even a language; every encounter tends to ends in violence. The Grunch are particularly fond of human flesh. Grunch have been known to lure people into the wilderness with animal sounds, or even human-sounding cries for help. The Grunch to tend to befriend alligators, and frequently keep them as pets.
